When Shami was asked the reason for this, he said that he is completely fit and whether he gets selected or not is not in his hands. Shami had raised questions on BCCI and the team selectors through gestures, but now this player has answered everyone with his ball. Shami was successful in showing amazing performance in the very first match of Ranji Trophy. This right-arm fast bowler took 3 wickets in the first innings against Uttarakhand. Shami took these 3 wickets in 4 balls.

Shami wreaked havoc

Shami did not get wickets in the initial over against Uttarakhand but in his 15th over, this player did wonders by taking 3 wickets.

The player took wickets on the second and third balls but could not take a hat-trick on the fourth ball. But then he took a wicket on the fifth ball and reduced Uttarakhand's innings to 213. This performance of Shami is like an answer to BCCI because despite being fit, he is not being selected in Team India.

Jaiswal took 4 wickets

The best bowling from Bengal was done by all-rounder Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal. This player took 4 wickets for 54 runs. Fast bowler Ishan Porel also took 3 wickets and Bengal's position became stronger against Uttarakhand.
