Sneh Rana took a superb catch, diving forward and plucking it inches from the ground to send back Alyssa Healy. Australia’s captain was taking the game away from the Indian women, but Rana’s moment of brilliance gave the Women in Blue a chance to fight back. Alyssa scored 142 runs off 107 balls, laced with 21 fours and 3 sixes.

Meanwhile, the umpires asked her to wait as they urged the TV official to check whether the catch was taken cleanly. After checking replays, the official ruled in favour of the hosts, and the player was declared out.

The defending champions are chasing 331 for their third win in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. The Women in Blue once again failed to play 50 overs and were dismissed for 330 in 48.5 overs.
