Sophie Ecclestone was magnificent with the ball, taking four wickets. She conceded just 17 runs from her 10 overs and bowled three maidens as well.

England defeated Sri Lanka by 89 runs to register their third consecutive win in the ICC Women’s World Cup. Chasing 254 runs, the hosts were dismissed for 164 in 45.4 overs. Hasini Perera (35) and Harshitha Samarawickrama (33) tried to keep Lanka in the game, but their dismissals ended the hopes of their team.
