New Zealand overcome Bangladesh by 100 runs in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025

New Zealand finally registered two points in the standings after defeating Bangladesh by 100 runs in the Women’s World Cup. After two consecutive defeats, the White Ferns made a good comeback. Chasing 228, Bangladesh were bowled out for 127 in 39.5 overs.

Fahima Khatun (29), Nahida Akter (17) and Rabeya Khan were the only three batters who entered the double-digit mark. For New Zealand, Jess Kerr and Lea Tahuhu took three wickets each.

Earlier, New Zealand suffered another batting collapse.

Captain Sophie Devine (63) and Brooke Halliday (69) were the only performers with the bat. Rabeya Khan dismissed three batters.
