Delhi: Currently, Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) is going on in India. The much-awaited tournament will end at the end of this month. Exactly one week after this, the ICC T20 World Cup will start. This major tournament will start from June 2, in which 20 teams are participating. Meanwhile, former Team India batsman Yuvraj Singh, who was chosen as the brand ambassador for the T20 World Cup 2024, has named the 4 teams that can play the semi-finals in this ICC tournament.

Yuvraj said that India, Pakistan, England and Australia will play the semi-finals. However, out of the 4 teams selected by him, only 1 team is surprising everyone. In fact, out of the four teams selected by Singh, Pakistan has surprised the fans because Babar Azam's team has been performing poorly for the last several months. Recently, they had to face a 2-1 defeat against New Zealand's 'B' team in the three-match T20I series on their home soil.

Apart from this, Yuvraj said that the match between India and Pakistan in New York is going to be the best event of this year. He believes that there is a different pleasure in watching the world's best players playing in a new stadium.

There will be a match between India and Pakistan on June 9.

Please note that 20 teams are participating in this T20 World Cup. 55 matches will be played between these teams for the title. All the teams have been divided into 4 groups of 5 each. India is in Group A, which also includes Pakistan, Ireland, Canada and America. Apart from this, Group B has England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland and Oman. Uganda, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, West Indies and Afghanistan are part of Group C, while Group D includes South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands and Nepal.

The Indian team will start its campaign in the T20 World Cup 2024 from June 5. Team India will face Ireland in its first match. After this, there will be an exciting match between India and Pakistan in the tournament itself on 9th June. The blue jersey team will face America on June 12 and Canada on June 15.
