AFG vs BAN 2nd T20I Playing 11: Rashid Khan-led Afghanistan will square off against Jaker Ali-led Bangladesh in the 2nd T20I match on October 03 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah.

Tigers secured a 1-0 lead in the Afghanistan vs Bangladesh T20I series and will be aiming to extend the lead and secure a win in the series.

Bangladesh secured a 4-wicket victory in the first match after bowling out Afghanistan for 151 runs. They went on to complete the chase in the 19th over on the back of fifties from Tanzid Hasan and Parvez Hossain Emon.

Bangladesh won the toss and opted to bowl first. Speaking at the toss, Jaker Ali said, “We will like to bowl first. We had a good start yesterday and a good strategy. We took some good rest. Looking forward to this game. We got two changes.”

Meanwhile, Rashid Khan said, “We wanted to bat first as well. Yesterday we didn’t do well with the bat. We were happy to bat first yesterday also. You need to give time here. Later on it was easy to bat on.”

“We have to focus on not losing too many wickets early on. Each and every game is quite important. We haven’t done well in the tri-series and the Asia Cup. We need to believe in our minds we can do well. We have three changes. Mujeeb is back,” concluded Rashid Khan.
