Preparations for the world famous Mysore Dussehra’s main attraction Jambu ride have been completed, which will be taken out in Mysore this evening as a grand completion of Dussehra festival. On the day of Vijayadashami, the district administration has made final preparations for this ride today. Millions of people are expected to come to see the ‘heritage chariot’ on the main road of the palace city.

This time the light of the city of palaces is shining. People are flooding every day to see it. Apart from the palace and the surrounding area, attractive replicas have been installed on major roads and circles. From spiritual and cultural terms, it will be a rare moment for the countrymen. In the evening, the dignitaries including Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will launch a Jambu ride by offering a wreath in front of Amba Vilas Palace. After this, the elephant will carry Abhimanyu Swarnim Ambari. This palace is located about 5 km from KR Circle, Sayajirao Road, Ayurvedic Circle and Bamboo Bazaar. Attractive stable pictures will increase the attraction of various art groups, dance and concert processions.

Arrangements have been made to sit in front of Amba Vilas Palace to see Jambu ride. Apart from this, arrangements have been made for the spectators to sit on both sides of the road on the Amba Yatra route. A torch procession will be taken out at 7 pm in the evening, which will conclude the Dussehra ceremony. Extensive security arrangements have been made in Mysore in view of Jambu ride. 6,384 policemen have been deployed for security in Mysore and more than 30 thousand CCTV cameras have been installed. Commandos will be deployed in the area around Jambu ride. Helpline centers have been opened at 10 places.

Warning signals have been made to avoid congestion and ambulances and medical teams have been deployed to deal with the emergency. The district administration and the police have issued clear instructions that those without admission will not be given admission. Mysore Dussehra will have a grand completion today with a wide system of security, transport, health and emergency services in all parts of Mysore city.
