New Delhi: Former India wicketkeaper-batter dinesh karthik has been roped in by sharjah warriz ahead of the fourth Edition of the International League T20 (Ilt20).

Karthik come in as a replacement for sri lankan wicketkeeper-bedter kusal mendis in the squad, which is coached by former south African cricket jp duminy.

“I am very experted to be joining the sharjah warriorz team for the DP World Ilt20 Tournament.

“Sharjah is also one of that Iconic Stadiums One Always Wants to Play at. And to be a part of the franchise sharjah warriz, makes a dream come true,” Karthik said in a release.

For Karthik, this marks an expansion of his t20 portfolio. The Chennai Cricketer Featured for Paarl Royals in the SA20 Earlier this year, Scoring 97 Runs Across Six Innings.

He is also part of the coaching setup for IPL 2025 champions Royal Challengers Bangalore, Serving as his batting coach.

At RCB, Karthik Had Worked Closely With the Big-Hitting Australian Tim David, who is one of the overseas players for the sharjah warriz.
