For this reason, he was also withdrawn from the Dalip Trophy, where he had to take charge of the East Zone. Now his return to the field with captaincy in the Ranji Trophy has been confirmed.
Jharkhand has declared a 16 -member team for the upcoming season. Ishaan Kishan will be the captain and the main wicketkeeper, while veteran batsman Virat Singh has been made vice -captain. Talented players like young spin all -rounder favorable Roy and wicketkeeper batsman Kumar Kushagra, have also got a place in the team. The Jharkhand team will start their campaign against Tamil Nadu from October 15.
Ishaan Kishan will land on the ground after about three and a half months. Playing county cricket in England in June for the last time, he scored half -centuries in two matches for Nottinghamshar. Earlier in April-May, he played the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Mumbai Indians (Mi) in 2025.
