KKR vs PBKS: The 42nd match of IPL 2024 was played at Eden Garden, Kolkata. History was created in this match. This history has been created by the batsmen of Punjab. Punjab has given a sensation by chasing the biggest target in the history of IPL. By achieving the target of 262 runs, Punjab has registered its record-breaking run chase in the pages of records. Jonny Bairstow Shashank Singh chased such a big total while standing with 8 balls remaining. Today history has been created in the Garden of Eden. This was the biggest run chase ever in T-20 cricket history. Before this, such a big run chase had not happened in the history of T20 cricket.
Batting first, KKR had scored 261 runs. Punjab Kings, chasing the target, scored 262 runs in 18.4 overs after losing 2 wickets. Bairstow scored 108 runs in 48 balls while Shashank scored 68 runs in 28 balls to give Punjab Kings the most thrilling and unforgettable victory in IPL history.

For KKR, Venkatesh Iyer scored 39 runs on 23 balls, Russell scored 24 runs on 12 balls, Shreyas Iyer scored 28 runs on 10 balls.
