7500 crore rupees will be transferred directly to 75 lakh women

New Delhi, 26 September (Read News). Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start the Chief of BIHAR through video conferencing at 11 am today. During this time, Prime Minister will transfer 10-10 thousand rupees directly to the bank accounts of 75 lakh women of Bihar, ie a total of Rs 7,500 crore. The purpose of this scheme of the Bihar government is to make women self-reliant and promote women empowerment through self-employment and livelihood opportunities. This information is given in the official release.

According to the release, the scheme will provide financial assistance to a woman from each family of the state and they will be able to start employment or livelihood activities of their choice. This will promote economic freedom and social empowerment. Under this scheme, every beneficiary will get an initial grant of Rs 10,000 through direct benefit transfer and additional financial assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh is likely in later stages. The beneficiaries can use this assistance in the areas of their choice, including agriculture, animal husbandry, handicrafts, sewing-weaving and other short-level enterprises.

The scheme will be a community-interaction and along with financial assistance, community resources associated with self-help groups will also provide training to support their efforts. To promote the sale of their produce, rural haats-bazaar will be further developed in the state. In the launch of Chief Minister Women’s Employment Scheme, there will be a statewide program at many administrative levels like district, block, cluster and village in the state. More than one crore women will witness the program.
