India survived the Oman scare in their third and last group stage match in the Asia Cup. Oman came close to defeating India, but the dismissal of Aamir Kaleem led to their 21-run defeat. Amir amassed 64 runs off 46 balls, with the help of 7 fours and 2 sixes.
He added 93 runs with Hammad Mirza, who also hit a fifty. Earlier, Captain Jatinder Singh accumulated 32 runs in a run chase of 189 runs. Oman reached 167/4 in 20 overs.
India posted 188/9, with Sanju Samson scoring a fifty for the world champions.
