INDW vs AUSW 1st ODI Playing 11: Harmanpreet Kaur-led India Women will square off against Alyssa Healy-led Australia Women in the first ODI match on September 14 at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur.

India Women and Australia Women have met on 50 occasions, where Australia Women have entirely dominated with 40 wins, while India Women have only 10 wins.

The series will serve as the preparations for the upcoming Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 which is set to begin on September 30.

India Women won the toss and opted to bat. Speaking at the toss, Harmanpreet Kaur said, “We’ll bat first. It has been a great journey for me, will continue for many years hopefully. It looks like a good batting wicket. We are going with four spinners and a pacer.”

Meanwhile, Alyssa Healy said, “Not too bothered with the toss, hopefully the ball will slide through nicely later. Happy to be back in the green and golden, excited for the next 6-8 weeks.”

“We are lucky to get this opportunity, hopefully we can work our combinations through this period. I’ll tell you who’s not playing – no Molineux, no Darcie Brown and a couple others miss out,” concluded Healy.
