Internet desk. In 2016, IPL winning captain David Warner made a bold prediction for the winner of the current season, as the tournament has already reached its final stages and two matches are yet to be played. Warner is one of the three foreign players who won the IPL team, before that Shane Warne and Adam Gilchrist had registered their names in history. He feels that on June 3, a new IPL champion will be crowned and he has predicted that Josh Hazlewood Royal Challengers will play an important role in eliminating the title drought of Bangalore.
RCB has already secured a place in the final of IPL 2025 with a stunning win over Punjab Kings in qualifier 1 and has become a strong contender to win the title by arriving there first. Warner prevented RCB from winning his first title when he reached the IPL final in 2016, when Sunrisers Hyderabad won at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. Warner scored 69 runs off 38 balls, which made the team a big score of 208/7, while Virat Kohli and his team struggled with the bat, but finally missed eight runs.
However, Warner feels that this year the RCB will end his drought to win the title and not Virat Kohli but Hazelwood will be the best performing players for him. On X, a fan asked Warner, David, what do you think, who will be the champion of Tata IPL 2025? @davidwarner31 Australia experienced opener replied, "I think RCB and Josh Hazlewood will be the man of the match.
