Punjab Kings chased down 262 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders to script a new world record in the history of T20 cricket. Jonny Bairstow scored a breathtaking hundred to lead the visitors to a convincing 8-wicket win. Prabhsimran Singh, Rilee Rossouw and Shashank Singh also played important knocks for the Sam Curran-led team.
Earlier, KKR posted 261/6 in 20 overs, with Sunil Narine (71) and Phil Salt (75) hitting bowlers to all parts of the ground.
