Harbajan Singh News: Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP and former cricketer, Harbhajan Singh has expressed serious concern about the floods in Punjab. He said that the situation in Punjab is very critical and people and the government together are engaged in relief work, but it will take time.

Former cricketer Harbhajan Singh said- The real picture will be revealed when the water goes down. Only then will it be clear how much damage has been done to farmers and common people. He said that thousands of hectares of land of farmers has been submerged, on which crops have been completely ruined. Apart from this, many people’s houses have also been washed away in flood waters.

“He marked the biggest challenge and said that it would not be easy to remove huge amounts of sand in the fields with water. If this sand is not cleaned in time, it will be difficult for the farmers to sow the next crop.”

Harbhajan Singh has taken several steps to help the flood affected.

“Harbhajan Singh appealed to the society and the competent people to come forward and help the flood victims. He said that the government and the local administration are trying their best. But at such a time the cooperation of the society is very important.”

“Harbhajan also said that not only Punjab, but also people of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Bihar are facing floods. He wished that all the affected people can soon recover from this disaster and return to normal life.”

‘Harbhajan Singh has given 11 steamer boats. He gave eight boats from his MP Nidhi and 3 boats from his pocket. The price of each boat is around 4.5 to 5.5 lakh rupees. Apart from this, he has also bought three ambulances, so that serious patients can be transported to the nearest hospitals.
Apart from this, an amount of about 50 lakh rupees has been collected from Bhajji to the help of the affected families. With this amount, food items and medicines are being provided to people continuously.
