Delhi: Indian team wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant had recently suffered a leg injury during the Test series against England. Now he is going to start his recovery and rehabilitation at the Center of Excellence of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Causes of injury

Pant was hurt during the fourth Test, when he hit the bowler of England bowler Chris Woakes. He had to leave the game due to injury, but he came back and scored a strong half -century despite the pain. The team got important runs due to his bravery. Pant returned to India recently

According to the report of Cricbuzz, Pant stayed in England for a few days after injury and then returned to India recently. Now they will start their entire recovery process under the supervision of the medical team at BCCI’s Center of Excellence.

Target to return to the next domestic series

The 27-year-old Pant’s goal is to return to the India-West Indies two Test series starting in October. The first Test will be held in Ahmedabad and the second in Delhi, where Pant can play on his home ground.
