Dhanashree Verma is back in the news for her comments about life after her divorce from cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. She spoke to director Farah Khan and opened up about her personal life and her bond with Chahal after parting ways with the spinner.

Farah Khan questioned Dhanashree about her personal life. “Are you leaving alone for the first time? First, you were residing with your parents, and then you got married to Yuzi. Both of you came to my party,” Farah Khan said.

Dhanashree mentioned that things have settled down between her and Chahal. She shared that both are still in touch. “I am in touch with Yuzi on messages. He is sweet and used to call me maa.”

Chahal played for Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League 2025 and was among the top performers with the ball. Meanwhile, he is not in the scheme of things of the national selectors and hasn’t played for India for a long time. The spinner was a part of the 2024 T20 World Cup squad, but he was not given a game by the Rohit Sharma-led team.
