Indian cricket legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are set to make their return to international cricket in October in a three-match ODI series against Australia. This highly anticipated series marks the pair’s first international appearance since the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Cricket Australia revealed in a press release that tickets for the ODIs and the five T20Is have been sold out within days of release.
“Cricket Australia is excited to announce that the Indian fan zones at all eight venues for the upcoming BKT Tyres Men’s ODI Series against India have officially sold out,” read a press release.
“With just 50 days remaining until the first ball is bowled, all Indian Fan Zones for the three ODIs and five T20Is are at full capacity, highlighting the tremendous fan support and the building excitement for one of the summer’s most anticipated matchups.”
Joel Morrison, Executive General Manager of Events and Operations at Cricket Australia, shared his excitement over the incredible support displayed by Indian fans for the upcoming series.
“We are thrilled by the overwhelming response, with the Indian fan zones selling out at all eight venues. The excitement surrounding this series is growing, and we’re thrilled to see such strong support from fans. We anticipate an electric atmosphere in the stands and a thrilling contest on the field between two of the world’s top cricketing nations,” Joel Morrison said.
