Delhi: While the Indian team for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is to be announced in a few days, former cricketer Sanjar Manjrekar has selected his 15-member team, in which he has not given a chance to veteran batsman Virat Kohli. Apart from this, the names of match finisher Rinku Singh, star all-rounder Shivam Dubey, strong all-rounder Hardik Pandya, young opener Shubman Gill, star pacer Arshdeep Singh are also not included in Sanjay's team.

The Indian team for the upcoming T20 World Cup will be announced on 28 April. For this, selection committee chairman Ajit Agarkar, captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid will meet in Delhi. It is expected that players who performed well in IPL will be given a chance for the mega tournament.

In such a situation, cricketer turned commentator Manjrekar has selected the 15-member Indian team. He has chosen Rohit Sharma as the captain of the team. Along with this, Sanjay has given place to Yashasvi Jaiswal as the opener, while powerful batsman Suryakumar Yadav is also a part of his team.

Apart from this, Manjrekar has selected Ravindra Jadeja and Krunal Pandya as all-rounders. He has included KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson as wicketkeepers, while Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal have been selected as spinners. Not only this, Jasprit Bumrah will lead the fast bowling attack. Along with him, Avesh Khan, Mohammed Siraj, Mayank Yadav and Harshit Rana will take charge of the pace attack.
