Delhi: Former Indian all -rounder Irfan Pathan has praised Shubman Gill’s batting on England tour. He said that the way Gill scored there, along with his batting, the captaincy capacity has also come out.

Irfan said, “Shubman batted very brilliantly. A batsman’s job is to score, but when you are captain, your responsibilities doubled. In the case of Shubman, both the batsman and the captain were supporting each other.”

Irfan Pathan said that the changes he saw in Shubman’s technology as a commentator, he came in handy in England.
