New Delhi: BCCI President Roger Binny resigned, now the command of the board is in the hands of Rajiv Shukla. Shukla will be the executive president till the upcoming election.

The BCCI’s recent Apex Council meeting discussed the termination of the contract of Dream 11 and the search for the new sponsor for the next two and a half years. The Asia Cup is about to begin on September 10, so finding a new sponsor is challenging for all.

According to sources, the board is focusing on permanent sponsors, which will remain till the 2027 ODI World Cup. This change has created a stir in the cricket world.
