India pacer Mohammed Shami’s marriage with Hasin Jahan has been hogging the limelight since the latter accused the cricketer and his family members of physical and mental torture. She has been speaking against Shami on social networking sites and news channels. Jahan recently alleged that Shami is giving preference to the children of his girlfriends instead of their daughter, Ayra.

In a recent interview with News 24, Shami spoke about his personal life. “Leave that. I never regret the past. What is gone is gone. I don’t want to blame anyone. Let me focus on cricket,” he said.

Apart from Shami, Shikhar Dhawan also parted ways with his wife, Ayesha Mukherjee. Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma also ended their marriage. When Shami was asked about the failed marriages of Dhawan and Chahal, he said, “You should investigate it. Why do you want to hang me to death? Look at the other side. I focus on cricket and not controversies.”

Shami has returned to action for East Zone in the ongoing Duleep Trophy. He took one wicket and conceded 55 runs from his 17 overs against North Zone in Bengaluru. Shami’s previous match was for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He took six wickets in nine matches for SRH. He was not selected for the Test series against England and the speedster was also ignored for the Asia Cup 2025.
