Delhi: After the removal of Dream 11, now two companies have shown interest in becoming the main sponsor of Team India with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). One of these companies is Toyota Motor Corporation and the other is a fintech startup.

Dream 11 took this decision when the ‘online gaming bill 2025’ passed in Parliament recently. After the implementation of this bill, fantasy sports companies had to ban real money gaming. This is expected to have a big impact on their earnings. For this reason, Dream 11 informed BCCI that he cannot continue sponsorship anymore.

Will Toyota become a new sponsor?

According to a NDTV report, Toyota and a Fintech Startup have shown interest in becoming the lead sponsor of Team India. Toyota Motors runs under the joint venture of Toyota Kirloskar in India and earned more than Rs 56,500 crore in the last Finance.

However, BCCI has not yet officially announced any new tender process. But, it is believed that this time the board is expected to get more than Dream 11. Let us know that the deal between BCCI and Dream 11 was about ₹ 358 crore.

BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia said that the board will follow every policy of the government. He said, “If anything is not allowed, we will not do it. We will follow every policy of the central government.”

Will Team India land without sponsor?

The Asia Cup 2025 and the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 are scheduled to begin in September. In such a situation, BCCI does not have much time left to find a new sponsor.

If there is no new agreement in the scheduled time, then Indian male and women’s teams may play in these tournaments without any sponsors.

The report also stated that the jersey of Dream 11 has already been printed, but it will not wear a jersey in the Asia Cup to be held in Team India UAE led by Suryakumar Yadav.
