Virat Kohli starts training at Lord’s

Virat Kohli has been dedicating considerable time and effort at Lord’s to prepare for the One Day International series against Australia. Following his retirement from Test and ODI formats, Kohli has been on a break since the end of IPL 2025. He will now focus solely on ODIs, with his next appearance scheduled in October.

Even while taking a break from matches, Kohli remains dedicated to his practice routine, ensuring he stays match-ready. He was also seen taking pictures with fans outside the training facilities at Lord’s.

India are set to face Australia in three ODIs, beginning on October 19 in Perth. Recently, Swastik Chikara, a right-handed batter from Uttar Pradesh, shared some details about Kohli’s future plans for the IPL, recalling a conversation he had with the cricket star.

‘Virat bhaiya said, ‘Jab tak cricket khelunga, jab tak main poora fit hoon. Ye Impact Player ki tarah nahi khelunga. Main sher ki tarah khelunga (I will continue playing cricket as long as I am fully fit. I won’t play as an Impact Player. I’ll play like a lion. I’ll field for the full 20 overs and then bat. The day I’m forced to play as an Impact Player, I’ll retire from cricket),” Swastik told RevSportz
