Delhi Capitals Has included him in his camp for his base price of Rs 50 lakh. This is the first time he has been selected to play in the IPL. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see whether Naib is included in the playing eleven whether he is successful in leaving his mark or not.

Naib had impressed in the T20 series against India in January this year by scoring two half-centuries in Indore and Bengaluru respectively. He replaces Marsh who was part of the Delhi Capitals squad for the first four matches of the season and did not make much of an impact with either bat or ball. He returned to Australia on 12 April due to a hamstring injury and is now out of the tournament.

If we talk about Delhi Capitals, after a disappointing start this season, Delhi Capitals' fortunes have taken a turn in the last few weeks and Rishabh Pant's team has now reached the top of the points table. At present, Delhi team is in sixth place with four wins in nine matches and if Pant's team continues to play according to its ability, then they can be seen playing in the playoffs also.
