Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 35 runs, break six-match losing streak

It was a one-way traffic after Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted 206/7 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The visitors managed to contain the dangerous batters of the Pat Cummins-led team, registering a win by 35 runs. Travis Head (1), Abhishek Sharma (31) and Heinrich Klaasen (7) couldn’t get going at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. The Orange Army was restricted to 171/8 in 20 overs.

It was Bengaluru’s second win of the season.

The second victory came after six consecutive defeats.

Karn Sharma and Swapnil Singh took two wickets each.

Earlier, Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar slammed fifties while others made valuable contributions to take the total to 206. Jaydev Unadkat (3 wickets) and T Natarajan (2 wickets) bowled well for SRH.
