He said, “The biggest question for me is whether Rishabh Pant can bat at number three in the World Cup team. I feel that he does not fit in the middle order and if he can do this then Pant will be one step closer to selection.”
The cricketer turned commentator further said that “Rishabh is a better player than any slugger or hitter. He comes to the crease and makes the path of his innings easier. That's why I say that he is a great player and an excellent batsman. However, I don't think he is a player who starts playing shots as soon as he comes on the field. My biggest question is whether Rishabh Pant can bat at number three after captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
