Faf du Plessis has won the toss and elected to bat first against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League 2024. “We want to do what Suunrisers have been doing this season. Put the runs on the board and put them under pressure. I am proud of the players and how they performed in the last game against Kolkata. It has been the difference of small margins this season, and we will look to win over here,’ Faf du Plessis said.

Pat Cummins doesn’t mind bowling first. “It is good to be back in Hyderabad after a few games. It is my first season here, but I am amazed to see the love of the fans on the streets. Whether we bat first or not, we will approach the game aggressively. The batting has been good for us and the bowlers will have to adjust to the conditions quickly,” Pat Cummins said.
