England created history in WTC, made a new record of 600+ runs

England created a new history in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) as soon as England crossed the 600 -run mark in the first innings.

This is the third time when England have scored more than 600 runs in the WTC, and with this it has become the most 600+ run -scorer team in WTC history.

England left many teams behind

Earlier in the WTC, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and South Africa scored 600+ 2-2 times and were jointly at the top. Now England have secured the first place, leaving behind all these teams.

India and Australia have scored more than 600 runs only once.
