Delhi: The fourth match of the T20I Tri -Tri -Series 2025 between Zimbabwe and South Africa was played on July 20 at Harare’s Sports Club. In this match, South Africa performed brilliantly, defeating Zimbabwe by 7 wickets to register their second win in the tournament and scored two important points. At the same time, host Zimbabwe is still looking for his first win.

Brian Bennett played half -century innings

South Africa captain Rasi Van Dar Dusain won the toss and decided to bowl first. Zimbabwe, who came out to bat first, was very bad and the team lost their three wickets for just 44 runs. After this, Brian Bennett and Ryan Berl shared and handled the innings.

Zimbabwe scored 144 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in the prescribed 20 overs. Brian Bennett batted brilliantly and scored 61 runs in 43 balls, including seven fours and three sixes. Ryan Berl contributed 36 not out.

Corbin Bosch jerked two wickets

For South Africa, Corbin Bosch bowled the most successful and took two wickets. Lungi Engidi, Nandre Burger and Masakayomji Peter got one success each.

Rubin Harman and Van Der Dusen’s wonderful innings

The South African team started chasing a target of 145 runs. The team lost both its openers-Luan-Dre Pritorius (4) and Reza Hendrix (6) within 22 runs. After this, Rasi van Dussain and Rubin Harman firmly carried on the innings and brought the team closer to victory.

Harman scored 63 off 36 balls in an explosive manner, including three fours and four sixes. At the same time, Captain Dusen scored an unbeaten 52 runs to bring the team to 145/3 in 17.2 overs and won the match by 7 wickets. For Zimbabwe, Tinotenda Majoosa bowled well and took two wickets.

The next fifth match of this tri -series will be played on 22 July between South Africa and New Zealand at Harare Sports Club. This match will start at 4:30 pm Indian time.
