The Australian team was present on the tour of England in this Ashes series. In the match, Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. However, the England bowlers did not let him last long and the entire team was all out for 116 runs. England bowler Bobby Peel took the highest 4 wickets, performing brilliantly.
After Australia’s first innings, the England team entered the field for batting. But, his start was also very bad. By the end of the first day’s play, England lost 3 wickets for 18 runs. A total of 13 wickets fell on the first day, which brought the match to a thrilling turn.

He sent Justin Greaves, Shamar Joseph and Joil Warikan to the pavilion for three consecutive balls. Along with this, he became the first bowler to take a hat-trick in Test cricket and the first bowler to take a hat-trick in the day-night Test.
Australia scored 225 runs while batting first, in response to which West Indies could score just 143 runs in the first innings. In the second innings, Australia added 121 runs and gave the West Indies a target of 205 runs to win. However, the West Indies team collapsed for just 27 runs and Australia won the match by 176 runs. With this victory, Australia captured the series 3–0.
