Former England captain Kevin Pietersen has expressed his admiration for Mohammed Siraj after his magnificent performance in the third Test against England. He picked up two wickets on Day 4 of the ongoing game to give the visitors a much needed start. He got rid of Ben Duckett and gave him a fiery send-off.

The right-arm pacer was warned by the on-field umpire. He then managed to convince Shubman Gill to go for a review after Ollie Pope was not given LBW by the official.

His suggestion proved correct and the batter was given his marching orders by the third umpire. Siraj gives everything when he bowls and there is hardly a dull moment during his spells. In the second Test, he picked up six scalps in the first innings and was one of the reason behind India’s 336-run win.

Jasprit Bumrah wwe rested for the Edgbaston Test and Siraj led the attack from the front. Pietersen likes Siraj’s fighting spirit.
