Nitish reddy: The third match of the five -match Test series is being played between India and England at the historic ground in Lord’s. The third day of the match brought both thrill and anxiety for the Indian team. Where KL Rahul handled India’s innings by scoring a brilliant century.
India equaled England’s first innings score. However, on the third day, Nitish Kumar Reddy was injured by a dangerous bouncer, causing silence on the field for some time. Ben Stokes’s ball went directly to his helmet.
When the 90th over was going on during the Indian innings, a dangerous bouncer of England all -rounder Ben Stokes went directly to Nitish Reddy’s helmet. As soon as the ball hit, Nitish sat there for some time and was seen staggering.
Immediately Physio arrived at the ground and the game was stopped. Suspense remained on the field for some time, but after medical examination, when Nitish started batting again, the Indian camp and fans breathed a sigh of relief.
At the end of the third day, when Jack Crolya and Ben Docket came to bat, Jack Crolee was deliberately trying to waste time. Because of this, Indian captain Shubman Gill and other players were seen angry and some sharp words were exchanged between the two teams. To handle the situation, the umpire had to come in the middle and separate the players.
Earlier in India’s innings, KL Rahul scored his second Lord’s century while performing tremendous patience and technology. After lunch, he completed the 10th of his Test career by taking a run off the ball of Jofra Archer and the second century on this ground. However, he immediately caught in a slip off Shoaib Bashir’s flytted ball.
