Performing at the historic Lord’s Cricket Ground is always a special achievement for any cricketer. But getting your name etched on the Lord’s Honours Board is considered one of the greatest milestones in a player’s career.
Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah earned this rare honor during the ongoing third Test against England by picking up a brilliant five-wicket haul. With this feat, Bumrah’s name will now be permanently inscribed on the prestigious board.
Jasprit Bumrah took 5 wickets for 74 runs in England’s first innings, registering the 15th five-wicket haul of his Test career.
However, this one holds extra significance — not just for the figures, but because it earns him a place on Lord’s Honours Board. With this performance, Bumrah becomes the 27th Indian cricketer to have his name added to the board.
