After winning the final of IPL 2025 on June 3, RCB stepped into Bengaluru, the atmosphere of celebration was at its peak in the city. Thousands of fans were already present as soon as the players reached the Chinnaswamy Stadium after attending the team’s government program on 4 June. The administration failed to control the crowd and there was a stampede on seeing it. 11 fans died in this painful accident, while more than 50 people were injured.

BCCI changed its stand after criticism

After this accident, many questions were raised on the Karnataka government, local police and RCB management. BCCI initially described itself as different from this program, but after a sharp criticism of social media and public, now the board has taken a serious stand on it.
