Kagiso Rabada dismissed Usman Khawaja in the first innings of the WTC Final between South Africa and Australia at Lord’s. After defying the Proteas bowlers for six overs, the southpaw paid a heavy price for playing a delivery that pitched outside the off stump. Cameron Green, who returned to Test cricket after a long time, started his innings with a boundary. However, he lasted for three balls before becoming Rabada”s second scalp of the day. Aiden Markram grabbed the catch.

Earlier, South Africa captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and elected to bowl first at Lord’s.
