IPL 2024: Captain Rituraj Gaikwad's century and Shivam Dubey's storming century helped Chennai Super Kings set a target of 211 runs against Lucknow. Skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 108 runs off 60 balls, which included 12 fours and three sixes. While Shivam Dubey scored 66 runs in just 27 balls with the help of three and seven sixes. Rituraj Gaikwad scored the second century of his IPL career.

Batting first, the Chennai team got off to a poor start. Chennai got their first shock in the form of Ajinkya Rahane on the fifth ball of the first over. Chennai then lost their second wicket in the sixth over. Darryl Mitchell returns to the pavilion with 11 runs. Ravindra Jadeja also got out cheaply. However, Chennai Super Kings set a target of 211 runs against Lucknow on the strength of captain Rituraj Gaikwad and Shivam Dubey's storming innings.
