MS Dhoni is the greatest cricketer in the history of the Indian Premier League. He has led the Chennai Super Kings to five IPL titles and several qualifications for playoffs. Although MSD has left the captaincy, he continues to be a leader. He is playing cameos in IPL 2024 and has given the franchise a chance to post big totals.
Former India and Chennai player Vinay Kumar spoke about short meetings before and after the games. Several players have revealed that Chennai is the only franchise in the tournament that doesn’t conduct long meetings for planning and plotting before matches and discussion after the contests.
“MS Dhoni is the university of cricket, who knows everything about the game. He runs the game smartly and doesn’t believe in giving lectures to the players in the dressing room. Dhoni makes clear what he expects from players in a few words and the players also understand their roles,” Vinay Kumar said.
Dhoni is helping Ruturaj Gaikwad to set up field and bowling changes. He wants to make sure that Ruturaj is ready to act independently before he leaves. Chennai have won four games while losing three encounters in the ongoing season.
