Punjab Kings, who had an amazing game in the Indian Premier League 2025, had to face defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the final. The team came close to winning its first trophy but remained empty-handed. The performance of the team's star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was very good but he failed to make an impact in the final. He also had to face criticism for this, but Yuzvendra Chahal's alleged girlfriend RJ Mahwash said that he was injured. He played the entire IPL even after having 3 fractures.
Yuzvendra Chahal was in the news a lot due to his divorce from Dhanashree Verma. Ending the relationship after marriage was a difficult phase for him. The Punjab Kings spinner played the entire season of IPL 2025 with three injuries. He played the match in pain for the team even after having broken ribs. It was a risky decision for this player's career. This was revealed by Chahal's friend Mahwash in his long Instagram post on Thursday. He took 16 wickets in 14 matches during the season and became the team's second-highest wicket-taker despite missing three matches.
Yuzvendra Chahal missed a few matches in the final stages of the tournament as he suffered a wrist injury. He only returned for the Qualifier 2 match against Mumbai Indians in Ahmedabad. Mahvash revealed that the Indian star played the entire season with three fractures, one in his ribs and the other in his bowling finger.
Radio jockey Mahvash was seen cheering Chahal in the PBKS corner in almost all the matches this season. She wrote a lovely post on Instagram, praising his "fighting spirit".
Mahwash wrote, “He fought, persisted, and played till the last match! And a special post for @yuzi_chahal23 because for those who don't know, he broke his ribs in the second match itself and later broke his bowling finger too. This guy played the entire season with three fractures! We have all seen him scream and cry in pain but never give up! I mean, what a warrior spirit you have. The team fought till the last ball!
It was an honor to be a supporter of this team this year! Well played boys. All the people in these pictures have hearts. See you next year! Also, a big congratulations to RCB and the fans for winning the title. Everyone worked hard and played hard!
