Shreyas Iyer played a captain’s knock to take Punjab Kings to the IPL 2025 final. PBKS will now face Royal Challengers Bengaluru on June 3 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Chasing 204, the Kings defeated the Mumbai Indians by 5 wickets in 19 overs with five wickets in hand. Iyer scored an unbeaten 87 runs off 41 balls, laced with 8 sixes and 5 fours. Nehal Wadhera (48) and Josh Inglis (38) were also brilliant with the bat.

Earlier, Suryakumar Yadav (44) and Tilak Varma (44) took Mumbai’s total to 2023/6 in the allotted 20 overs.
