Rajasthan Royals' opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a brilliant century on Monday (April 22) in the IPL 2024 match played against Mumbai Indians at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. 22 year old Jaiswal played a stormy innings of unbeaten 104 runs in 60 balls and gave his team an easy victory.

During this innings, he also hit 9 fours and 7 sixes. During this innings, he did not even spare Mumbai's star bowler Jasprit Bumrah and easily hit a six on his ball. This six was seen on the first ball of the 15th over when Bumrah bowled a free hit ball to Jaiswal. Jaiswal read this slower ball of Bumrah and sent it towards the leg side for a six.

Jaiswal has become the first player in the history of IPL to score two centuries at the age of 22. He also scored his first IPL century against Mumbai. Thanks to Jaiswal's unbeaten inning of 104 runs in 60 balls, Rajasthan achieved the target of 180 runs with nine wickets and eight balls remaining. From the other end, Sanju Samson remained unbeaten on 38 runs in 28 balls, while Jos Buttler scored 35 runs in 25 balls. Meanwhile, Rajasthan have consolidated their place at the first position on the points table with the win, while Hardik Pandya's MI are placed seventh with three wins and five losses.
