IPL 2025 for Royal Challengers Bengaluru has proved to be a very successful season so far. In the first qualifier match played on May 29, RCB defeated Punjab Kings by 8 wickets to confirm its place in the final of the tournament. The team performed brilliantly in the league stage and won all their seven outside and made it to the top-2.

Four players of Royal Challengers Bengaluru will play in the second consecutive final

There are four players in the current team of Royal Challengers Bengaluru, who also participated in the final match of IPL 2024. These players are – Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Phil Salat, Mayank Agarwal and Suyash Sharma. The previous final was played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. In that match, Salt and Suyash had fielded on behalf of KKR while Bhuvi and Mayank took the field on behalf of SRH.

This season these four players played an important role for RCB. Veteran bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 13 wickets in 15 matches and maintained control with the new ball. Filt Salat made the team a strong start by making a fast start in every match as an opener. Suyash Sharma shook the middle order of Punjab by bowling economically in qualifier-1. At the same time, Mayank Agarwal ensured the team’s victory by scoring a fierce half -century in an important match against Lucknow.

IPL 2025 RCB towards creating history in the final

RCB has taken another step towards its first title by reaching the final this time. The balance of the team seems to be strong under the captaincy of Rajat Patidar. Now it has to be seen whether the Bangalore team can pick up the trophy for the first time.
