Jio shake hands with Sony! The deal for digital and broadcast rights of Eng vs IND Test series

Eng vs Ind Test Series Digital and Broadcast Rights: Big news has come out for Indian cricket fans. The five -match Test series of India against England will now be available on both Jio Hotstar and Sony Sports Network. Jio Hotstar has achieved exclusive digital streaming rights of this important series, while Sony Sports Network will keep television broadcast rights. The agreement has been signed under the sub -osis deal with Sony Entertainment Network.

Live partnership for India-England Test series

According to the report of Cricbuzz, the deal has been finalized in the last 24 hours, on which work was going on for about a month. Although no official statement has been issued by any party yet, it is expected to be announced later today. It is also understood that the partnership will also be extended till the 2026 White-Ball tour of England, which will include three ODIs and five T20 matches. (Eng vs Ind)

ECB played an important role

Sony achieved broadcast rights for the Indian market from England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) last year, it was an eight -year deal that would run until 2031. The ECB is said to have played an important role in facilitating this digital sublime arrangement with Jio and Star.

India is going to visit England in the month of June. Where a five -match Test series is to be played between India and England.

  • First Test Match: 20 to 24 June, 3:30 pm in India (Hadingley, Leeds)
  • Second Test Match: 2 to 6 July, 3:30 pm in India (Edgbaston, Birmingham)
  • Third Test Match: 10 to 14 July, 3:30 pm in India (Lords, London)
  • Fourth Test Match: 23 to 27 July, 3:30 pm in India (Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester)
  • Fifth Test Match: 31 July to August 4, 3:30 pm in India (The Oval, London)
