IPL 2025: While Delhi Capitals started a sharp start in IPL 2025 (IPL 2025), the rhythm worsened by the end. After winning four matches at the beginning of the tournament, the team felt that the team would be a strong contender for the playoffs, but as the match progressed, the weaknesses started emerging. Especially despite the huge investment in the fast bowling department, the results that came out raised questions on the team management’s strategy.

Chance in just one match after spending crores

The bowler we are talking about is none other than T Natarajan. Delhi Capitals had bid a big bid of Rs 10 crore 75 lakh on Natarajan in the mega auction. The team hoped that the bowler would wreak havoc in the death overs with Mitchell Starc.

However, T Natarajan (T. Natarajan) got only two matches in the entire season of IPL 2025 (IPL 2025), out of which he bowled in only one match. During this time neither he got any wicket nor could he bother the opposition batsmen with his line-length.

In the match played against Gujarat Titans on May 18, when he was handed the ball, he scored 49 runs in three overs and could not take any wickets. In this match, Delhi suffered a crushing defeat by 10 wickets.

T Natarajan bowled only 18 balls throughout the season and could not leave any effect. Despite such a big investment, when a player bowls only once and is badly beaten in it, it definitely proves to be a loss deal for the team.

Under the leadership of Akshar Patel, Delhi Capitals won 7 out of a total of 14 matches, 6 and one match was inconclusive. With 15 points, the team finished fifth in the points table and dropped out of the playoff race.

Management will have to review the strategy

After IPL 2025, DC will have to review its strategy in the fast bowling department. If the players are unable to perform on the field after spending millions and crores, then the balance of the team is sure to deteriorate. It will be interesting to see how DC improves in the upcoming season.
