Csk likely to release: The journey of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2025 is over. Under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, Chennai played the last league against the Gujarat Titans, winning by 83 runs. Chennai Super Kings bought Shivam Dubey for a price of Rs 12 crore for the season. However, could not prove more beneficial for Dubey. Dubey, famous for batting, could not live up to the expectations of the fans. He scored 357 runs in 14 innings of 14 matches of the season. During this time his high score was 50 runs. This was his only fifty during the season.

2- Rachin Ravindra (CSK)

Chennai bought Rachin for a price of Rs 4 crore for the season. Rachin played 8 matches for the team, scoring just 191 runs while batting in 8 innings. Rachin could not live up to the expectations of Rachin fans, famous to play brilliant innings on the opening.

3- R Ashwin (CSK)

Chennai spent a huge amount on Ashwin. The team bought Ashwin for a price of Rs 9.75 crore for the season. Ashwin could not show amazing according to the price. He took just 7 wickets while batting in 9 innings of 9 matches.

4- Vijay Shankar

The team bought Vijay Shankar for a price of Rs 1.20 crore. Shakar played 6 matches for the team, batting in 5 innings and scored just 118 runs. Shankar scored only 1 half -century in the season. Given this performance, the team may release Shankar before the next season.

5- Rahul Tripathi

Rahul Tripathi, who batted in the top order, was bought by Chennai Super Kings for a heavy price of Rs 3.40 crore in the mega auction for IPL 2025. Tripathi could not perform as expected in the season at all. Rahul scored just 55 runs, batting in 5 innings of 5 matches of the season, with high score of 23 runs.
