New Delhi, April 20, 2025 — Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill has been fined ₹12 lakh for maintaining a slow over rate during Match 35 of the Dad IPL 2025 against Delhi Capitalsheld at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

According to an official release from the Indian Premier League (IPL)Gill was penalized under Article 2.22 of the IPL Code of Conductwhich deals with minimum over rate offenses. Since it was Gujarat Titans’ first such offense of the season, the standard fine of ₹12 lakh was imposed on the team’s captain.
