Women's and UP Warriorz all-rounder Deepti Sharma has accused Delhi batter Arushi Goel of burglary from her house in Agra, claims a report.
Both Deepti and Arushi have been teammates in Warriorz in Women's Premier league (WPL). Arushi, who is also a junior clerk in Indian Railways besides being a cricketer, has been alleged of breaking into the 27-year-old's Agra flat and robbing INR 25 Lakh, gold and silver jewellery and amount of INR 2 Lakh in foreign currency.
As per news agency IANS, Deepti's sibling Sumit Sharma has filed a complaint against the Delhi-based player at the Sadar Police Station in Agra. According to the renowned news outlet, DCP Sonam Kumar was quoted as saying, "Deepti Sharma, UP DSP and Indian women's cricketer, along with junior player Arushi Goyal and her family, face a Rs 25 lakh fraud case. Deepti's brother filed an FIR after valuables went missing from her flat. Investigation is ongoing." Along with IANS, Times of India (TOI) also published the report which contained similar assertions. In fact, the TOI also claimed that Arushi and her family members exploited India player, giving excuses of emergencies.

Deepti Sharma will be part of the Indian team which will tour for eight white-ball matches (five Women's T20 Internationals and three Women's One-Day Internationals), set to be played from June 28 to July 22.
