Delhi: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was seen leaving the field after defeat against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Tuesday. He suffered a loss by 6 wickets in this match and the team remained at the bottom of the points table.

Dhoni advised the young Indian batsmen who performed well in this IPL to remain calm under pressure and try to maintain continuity.

43 -year -old veteran wicketkeeper batsman and great captain MS Dhoni said, “He will have to try continuity, but if you are thinking of 200+ strike rate then it is difficult to get continuity. They have the ability to hit sixes at any time, do not take pressure when expectations grow. Learn from senior players and coaching staff. Learn from the staff and coaching staff.

Apart from this, Dhoni said, “We created a good run number, but initially 1-2 wickets fell more. This brought pressure on the lower middle order and the confidence of batting the entire 20 overs decreased.”

Dhoni said, “Brevis’s innings was fantastic, he was taking opportunity. The run rate was good, but we were losing extra wickets in the beginning. Kamboj is a good bowler. He gets the movement from the ball and his balls look faster than they seem. It is difficult to put three overs in the powerplay, but he did well.”
