His knock took the Capitals to 199/3 in 20 overs. Rahul completed 8,000 runs in T20 cricket and also became the fastest Indian batter to reach the milestones.

He reached the mark in 224 innings and dethroned Virat Kohli from the top spot. The 36-year-old took 243 innings. Shikhar Dhawan (277 innings) and Suresh Raina (284 innings) are third and fourth in the list.
